Back on the trail!

Got up today and repacked all of our packs again. Still whittling down the gear to save weight.

Got a ride from the great people at the Wolf Pen Gap Country Store to Gooch Gap. It was around 15:00 when we got there so we decided to set up camp and stay the night.

We met a very nice couple that hiked to Gooch Gap and decided to stay because we were there. They set up a tent near ours and we had a good time sharing our experiences on the trail.

We cooked summer sausage and rice for dinner.

Since we were by the road I set up a fire guard with Gig and Off for tonight. We are planning to walk as far as we can on the morrow.
