And then the rains came…

It began to rain today while heading to Springer Mountain. We made it though. The Approach Trail was amazingly strenuous. Many people completely skip it. They get dropped off a mile or so passed Springer Mountain and then backtrack to the summit. I did not know. But even if I did we would have still started at the Approach Trail.
